For years there was no accurate way of verifying objects within a slab of concrete without destroying a portion of it and causing potentially costly delays in construction. With GPR technology it is possible to interrogate the concrete and detect rebar, conduit, water lines, in-floor heating systems, PT cables, and voids. Measuring slab thickness and detecting under-slab voids has also proven very usefull.
